Top upcoming 2019 Movies

Every year the movie industry releases films that are much anticipated.Some turn out to be fascinated blockbusters while others prove to be a complete disappointment.2019 has given us some interesting film titles to watch out for.Some are sequels, others make their debut from its original source.Here is a list of the top upcoming films this year.

Hellboy 

A reboot from the original hellboy played by david harbour comes out this year.Even though I am a fan of the two first films where hellboy was played by Ron perlman.I am excited to see what the 2019 hellboy has in store for us.It is going to be directed by Neil marshall and the studio is lionsgate and dark horse entertainment.Other stars featured will be Milla jovovich and Ian mcshane

Hobbs and shaw

Well it looks like what everyone predicted would happen,happened.Seeing as how the popular speedster franchise know as fast and furious will be releasing a spin-off titled Hobbs and shaw this year.I expect this one to be yet another adrenaline testosterone packed movie.With lots of explosions,CGI, and one-liners.Seeing as how the rock and Jason statham put up a good show, it should be fairly interesting.

Joker 

The joker will be an origin story of the iconic villain's uprising.Joaquin Phoenix will portray the clown prince of crime.Todd Phillips will helm the film as the director.It also appears to be the first in a series of dc based films.However they will not be related to the Dc extended universe.

Scary stories to tell in the dark 

The movies release will be in august of this year.Being a fan of the original book, I have hopes for this movie.Guillermo del Toro will be onboard with the screenplay along with John august, and Kevin and Dan hageman.The director will be Andre ovredal and the running time of the film will be approximately 110 minutes.

Avengers Endgame

The next and final avengers movie releases this april.Once again directorial credits go to the Russo brothers.And the trailer gives us a look into what earth's mightiest heroes have to do in order to stop thanos.

Anabelle comes home 

The warrens make their appearance again with anabelle comes home.The synopsis states that their young daughter and her friends are faced with an ordeal.Anabelle awakens the rooms evil spirits and gives everyone a night of terror.Really looking forward to this one as well and the conjuring 3(that one will be released in 2020).

John wick 3: parabellum

Keanu Reeves is john wick the legendary hitman once again.the previous movies have been really good with a pleasant soundtrack and lots of gun fights.However in this one, john will fight for his life when he is the walking target when a $14 million contract is placed on his head.

X-MEN Dark phoenix

The x-men movies are always awesome to watch.I happen to be a big x-men fan myself and can see dark phoenix delivering an amazing performance.Game of thrones own sophie turner will play Jean gray as she runs out of control.Jennifer Lawrence plays mystique as usual, and james McAvoy returns as professor X.

Triple threat 

Although this one came out past February, I believe it should be here as well.With great action stars like tony jaa, Scott adkins, and michael jai white in it.martials arts packed action and great storyline.It is directed by jesse v. Johnson.

It: chapter 2 

This one will come out in late 2019 as we see the losers club as adults.It takes place 27 years later as pennywise continues to torment the adult version of the losers club.There was first footage of the upcoming film that was released at cinemacon with a chilling scene of Beverly played by jessica chastain.

Godzilla: king of the monster

This one greatly reminds me of the ps2 game for the storyline being so similar.Its a Titans showdown as godzilla fights against mothra, rodan,and fan favorite king ghidorah.

Child's play 

Childs play appears this year with a remake of the first film.The synopsis is completely different seeing as the elements that made child's play franchise so popular are left out.No doll-possession and Chucky seems so weird compared to the original.I gotta be honest this looks to be a disappointment but we cannot judge a book by it's cover.Therefore i decided to place it on this list.
